Alejandra Gordon (Violin)
Alejandra González is a dynamic and accomplished violinist with a passion for performance and education. Born in Colombia and currently based in London, she has established herself as a sought-after musician and educator. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Caldas. She continued her studies at the University of Glasgow, University of Malta, and Tallinn university where she graduated with distinction from an international Master’s in education for social change.
As a performer, Alejandra has played with orchestras and ensembles throughout Colombia, including the Medellin philharmonic and Caldas Symphony Orchestra. She was also part of the renowned global leaders’ program in 2020. Alejandra has taught violin and chamber music to students of all ages in Colombia, Chile, Scotland, and England. In addition to her performing and teaching work, Alejandra is a dedicated advocate for diversity and inclusion in classical music and is committed to advancing the art of violin playing and sharing the joy of music with audiences worldwide.
