At the nonproft Creative Caminito we are building inclusive new tango music education & performance communities through innovative projects throughout the UK, developing musicianship, creativity, community, and intercultural understanding. We aim to enrich cultural opportunities in the UK, and develop multiple collaborations between different cultures.

We are currently running 3 orchestras in London, Bristol and Leeds with more in the pipeline...If you would like to join a community tango orchestra please get in touch!

Music like you've never played before!

We believe more cultural inclusion and understanding of Latin American cultures is needed in the UK and we aim to move away from the typical clichés into the deeper and broader viewpoints of the beauty and creativity inherent in them. We also aim to promote more equality in representation between the genders. We hope to increase our audiences awareness and knowledge of the fascinating music, poetry and dance that have been born out of the potent mix of European and Indigenous cultures, immigration, colonialism and diaspora. We will explore the power of human creativity to imagine new identities and cultures which have much to teach us today in a fragmented and increasingly divisive world.
Our current main projects are the London Tango Orchestra, a professional group, and the 3 Community Tango Orchestras for amateurs, students and semi-pro musicians who wish to learn how to play the style, and perform at tango dances.
