Hola
So here is a little story about the start of my tango journey and the amazing Juan José Mosalini (incredible bandoneon player) who lived in Paris from the 1970s until his death in 2022. He has left such a legacy on the tango scene in Europe and its really due to him that there are so many tango musicians and the circuit is thriving and growing stronger every year. Hola! Welcome to the blog for Creative Caminito where we will be posting our news, ideas, discussions and many other things!
We would like to remind you of the Summer Course we have this year where you can learn some of the basics of tango music performance, as well as a milonga night we are organising with the community Caminito Tango Orchestra and the tango music teachers on July 16 where you can come and dance! We are also looking for Latin American women, living in the UK who would like to share the story of some of their experiences in a new page we are doing called Testimonials - The Real Latinas, as a way of trying to break down the stereotypes and give some visibility to female Latin American voices in the UK so please get in touch if you, or anyone you know might wish to participate. |
